Do we have to remove everything from inside the cabinets, before painting begins?
“No, you don’t have to clear out the kitchen cabinets. We will tape off the open areas to prevent any paint residue from getting inside. As for the drawers, we will only take off the front part which we will bring with us to our shop to sand. The drawers will remain at the house, so you can leave all the items in them.”
What is the process?
- First, we remove all the cabinet doors and drawers and take them to our production facility. This will ensure the job is professionally done and keep the mess to a minimum around your home.
- The refinishing portion of the cabinet frame is completed at your home. Our professionals will take special care around countertops and appliances.
3. At our production facility, we strip the old finish from every cabinet door. We ensure that there is no residue of wax, varnish, or paint left.
4. Once the finish stripping is complete, we prepare the surface with brushing, sanding, wiping, and other cleaning procedures.
5. The final step of the process is applying your selection of finish. We offer a wide range of colors and stains.
Can hinges be updated?
A lot of older kitchen hinges and sliders are old and squeaky. They can be easily updated to soft close hinges and sliders.
